Control time without rushing
The goal is to keep enough time for every question while protecting accuracy on questions you can solve.
Make it repeatable
- Know the pace: 32 minutes for 27 Reading and Writing questions, 35 minutes for 22 Math questions.
- After about a minute of no progress, eliminate, flag, and move.
- Reserve the last few minutes to revisit flagged items, not to reread every answer.
- Review slow correct answers too; they may expose an inefficient method.
