Turn every mistake into a rule
The score improves when the cause of an error changes. Logging only the correct letter does not change your next attempt.
Make it repeatable
- Write the skill and the exact point where your reasoning broke.
- Label the cause: concept, translation, evidence, careless read, or time.
- Write a one-sentence “next time I will…” rule.
- Redo the item without looking at the answer, then return to a similar problem two days later.

You chose a transition that means “however,” but the second sentence gives an example of the first.
- Cause: relationship was not named before reading choices.
- Rule: “I will label the relationship as example, contrast, cause, or sequence first.”
- Redo a fresh transition item and check that the word expresses your label.
The log records a transferable action, not “remember choice C.”
